Guidelines
Last updated: 28 September 2026 · what is welcome, what is not, and what happens
OZVAK is for adults who want to say what they want and be met by someone who wants something compatible. Every consensual orientation, identity, relationship style and horizon is welcome, including a married adult who is honest about it. Desire is not a rule violation. The rules below exist so that nobody is harmed, deceived, exposed or sold to.
Be who you say you are
- Be 18 or older, with your real date of birth.
- Your photo is you, recent, and yours. No one else's face, no stock image, no generated face.
- One person, one account. No account for someone else, no second account to get past a block or a removal.
- Do not pretend to be another person, a business, or an official.
Consent runs everything
- Nothing moves on one person's choice. If they did not accept, there is no Room. If they did not choose, there is no photo.
- No pressure to reveal, to meet, to move off OZVAK, or to send anything.
- A no, a closed Room, or a block is final. Do not try again from another Current.
- What someone shows you in a Room is for you, in that Room. Do not save it, share it, forward it or post it.
Sharing an image of a person's private act or private area without their consent is a crime in India even if they chose to show it to you (Explanation 2 to section 77, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023). It is also the one thing we act on fastest: see the clocks below.
Keep the platform clean
- No nudity or sexual acts in a photo, a Current, an alias, or the text of a profile. The photo is a face.
- No content that is obscene under Indian law, and nothing sexual involving anyone under 18, in any form, ever.
- No harassment, threats, stalking, intimidation, or hate on the basis of religion, caste, gender, sexuality, disability, region or language.
- No content that is defamatory, that invades someone's privacy, that infringes someone's rights, or that is false and meant to deceive or harm.
- No content that threatens India's security, public order, or friendly relations with other states, that incites an offence, or that is unlawful.
- No malware, no scraping, no automation, no attempt to defeat screening or the reveal gate.
No money, no selling, no pulling people off
- No asking for money, gifts, recharges, transfers, or investments. No rate cards. No compensated arrangements of any kind.
- No promotion, no links, no handles, no phone numbers, no payment ids in a message or a Current. Messages containing them are refused before they are stored.
- No moving someone to another app before they choose to. Contact details can be shared once both of you have revealed.
What happens when a rule is broken
In proportion to the harm, and never on one unreviewed complaint for anything that closes a person's Rooms with third parties:
- A message that breaks a rule is refused before delivery, and the sender is shown the rule. Nothing about it is shown to the other person.
- A reported photo showing nudity, a sexual act or a private area, or an impersonation or morphed image, is removed the moment the report arrives, before anyone looks at it, and the uploader loses photo and reveal while it is looked at. The law gives us 2 hours for this; the system does it in seconds.
- A report of harassment, threats, hate, a scam or asking for money puts the content out of view and is resolved within 36 hours where it asks for removal.
- A report that someone you met hurt, stalked or threatened you takes your profile out of everyone's view, blocks both ways, and takes away the other person's reach to you and to anyone new, before a person looks at it. Their other Rooms are untouched until there is a finding or a second independent report.
- A report that a member is under 18 removes that account from every surface on suspicion and preserves the records for the authorities.
- A second independent complaint, or a finding on the first, suspends the account. A suspended member is told the rule, the class of evidence, the date, what still works, and how to appeal. The reporter is never named.
- Filing reports that turn out to be unfounded, repeatedly, sends your later reports to review without automatic action. You are not told, and no one else is.
How to report
From any Current, Intro, Room or photo, choose Report and pick a category. Reporting is private: the person is never told who reported them or that a report was made. You can block from the same place, which stops everything between you now and keeps a read-only copy for you in case you want to report later.
If you are not a member, or a photo of you is on OZVAK without your consent, you do not need an account. Write to grievance@[LEGAL DOMAIN] or use the Grievance page, which prints the deadlines the law sets us. For a crime, cybercrime.gov.in and the helpline 1930 are open to you without our permission.
What we owe you in return
- Report, block, close, pause and delete are never behind a payment.
- No fake members, no generated faces, no invented activity, no counters that lie.
- No preferential placement for money.
- The truth about what we hold and what we can see, on the Privacy Policy, written against the code.
