Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
OZVAK has zero tolerance for any content or conduct that sexualises, endangers or exploits a minor, including child sexual abuse material. This is absolute and permanent. It applies to every part of the service and it is never subject to an exception, a warning or a second chance.
OZVAK is for adults, 18 and over, only.
What our age rule is, and what it is not
We are putting this before the list of controls, because a reader deciding whether to trust this page deserves the weakness first.
OZVAK does not check anyone's age. A member signs in with a one-time code to an email address, which proves they control that address and nothing else, and they confirm they are 18 or over. That is a declaration, not a check, and a determined minor can make it. We will not describe it as anything stronger, and no page of ours will say this app verifies age, verifies adults or verifies humans, because it does not.
What follows from that is how we behave, not how we advertise. We treat every report involving a suspected minor as the highest priority we have. We remove anyone we learn is under 18, and the removal is permanent rather than a suspension. Stronger age assurance is planned and is not yet shipped. When it ships, this page changes on the same day.
How we prevent, detect and respond
- Explicit media is not allowed at all. Not gated, not age-restricted, not allowed. That single boundary removes the category of content most likely to involve a minor.
- Nothing about a member is public. There is no public profile, no browsable web directory and no shareable link. A minor cannot be found on OZVAK from outside OZVAK.
- Full-resolution photos do not move without mutual consent. Another member sees a 48-pixel-wide blurred thumbnail and nothing more until both people have separately chosen to reveal, checked on our server rather than in the app.
- Reporting and blocking on every profile and every chat. Both are free, both are available to everyone, and neither is ever behind a payment.
- Reports can carry evidence out of encryption. Messages here are end-to-end encrypted, which normally means a provider can act on nothing. When a member reports, they can attach the messages themselves, which arrive readable so a human can act on them. This is how a child-safety report about an encrypted conversation becomes actionable at all.
- Automatic suspension on multiple independent reports. When enough separate members report the same account, it is suspended by the system without waiting for anyone to review a queue, and a ban is recorded that survives the account being deleted.
- Photo screening: built, and not yet operating. We are not going to list this as a control while it is a seam. Screening hooks exist on the device and on the server, no classifier model is wired into the device path, and the server-side requirement is switched off for our closed test, so uploads are currently approved without an automated check. Neither hook ever declares an image safe on its own. This is the single biggest gap on this page and we would rather name it than pad the list.
How to report
In the app, use Report on any profile or any chat. Reports are reviewed and acted on, and enough independent reports suspend an account automatically.
To report a child-safety concern from outside the app, or about something you saw that you cannot report in the app, email safety@[LEGAL DOMAIN]. You do not need an account to use that address.
What we do when we find child sexual abuse material
When we identify apparent child sexual abuse material, we remove it, permanently ban the account, preserve the evidence as the law requires, and report it to the relevant authorities. That includes reporting to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and in India acting in line with the POCSO Act and the Information Technology Act. We cooperate with lawful requests from child-protection authorities and law enforcement. We do not negotiate any part of this with the account holder.
If a child is at risk right now
Contact your local emergency services first. Do not wait for us. In India you can also reach the Childline helpline on 1098. Online child sexual abuse material can be reported to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org.
